1. How can I participate in this challenge?

The Ramadan Virtual Challenge is open to everyone worldwide. You must purchase a ticket to participate.

2. When is the Ramadan Virtual Challenge?

The Ramadan Virtual Challenge kicks off on Saturday, March 1st at 12:00 am, and lasts until Sunday, March 30th, 11:59 pm (GMT+2).

3. Do I need to purchase a ticket?

You can purchase your ticket via the Racemate app. Select the Ramadan virtual Challenge and follow the in-app instructions to join and pay. Choose between the Entry package, which includes full access to the challenge and digital badges, and the Entry plus Medal package for an added commemorative medal. Once you have purchased your ticket successfully, you will be able to see that you have joined the challenge and can start participating. *Your ticket is non-refundable.

4. How do I start the challenge?

Once you purchase the ticket from the Racemate app, you can press “Start” from inside the challenge. You can also use the free run option. Your distance will automatically get recorded and added to your total distance for the challenge. After joining the challenge, you can track your runs using:
1. Racemate app on your mobile phone
2. Garmin watch synced with Racemate
3. Racemate app on the Apple Watch
* All valid tracks will be automatically added to your total distance. Choose the method that suits you, and all progress will count toward the challenge!

5. What is a valid track?

– Use the Racemate App directly, or sync your Garmin watch or Apple Watch to the Racemate App.
– Perform a run or walk, either indoors or outdoors.
– Complete at least 500 meters in a single activity.
– Keep your phone in one of the following during the activity: pocket, armband, hand, or waist bag. – Do not answer calls directly on your phone during the activity. Use headphones or earbuds if calls are necessary to maintain accurate pace tracking.
– Ensure your track maintains a realistic pace; tracks with unrealistic paces will be rejected by the Racemate validation system.

6. What is a Virtual Challenge?

A Virtual Challenge is a running event that can be completed by participants from any location, without the need for a physical presence at a specific location or time. It allows you to run the challenge at your convenience during the specified period of time.

7. Where can I find my virtual challenge results?

Once you complete a valid run, view your progress and the leaderboard within your personal virtual challenge. A result screen and preliminary leaderboard will be available for participants to view. The final leaderboard will be available at the end of the challenge.

8. What are the prizes?

All participants who reach 75KM and purchased the Entry Plus Medal Ticket will receive a special medal shipped to their address. Participants who complete the 75KM but purchased the Entry Ticket will not be eligible for the medal. The official leaderboard will display the fastest runners and teams. All participants who join the challenge will earn a digital kilometer badge for every 10KM milestone, culminating in a special 75KM badge. The kilometer badges are awarded at these achieved distances: 10KM, 20KM, 30KM, 40KM, 50KM, 60KM, and 75KM.

7. Shipment
Please ensure that your contact information and address are accurately filled in when purchasing the ticket. Shipping costs for medals will vary based on your location. Only participants who purchased the “Entry plus Medal” package will be eligible to receive one. For those eligible, the medal will be shipped within 10-21 days after the challenge ends.
