1. How can I participate in this challenge?
The Racemate treadmill challenge is open to everyone worldwide and has access to a treadmill. You must purchase a ticket to participate.
From the 20th of May till the 31st, we’re launching a special Treadmill Challenge, encouraging runners to try out Racemate’s newest indoor running feature! The Treadmill Challenge is inspired by the world record for the greatest distance covered on a treadmill over a 12-hour period, which is held by Australian Matthew Eckford. Instead of 12 hours though, we’re giving you 12 days, in which you can run as many kilometers as you can, in the hope of reaching (and surpassing) his record of 147.3K.
If you think that’s a lot to aim for, don’t worry! You just have to run 12K (representing the number of consecutive hours Eckford ran) to earn your medal and have it sent directly to your home address, wherever you might be in the world.
The Racemate treadmill challenge is open to everyone worldwide and has access to a treadmill. You must purchase a ticket to participate.

A Virtual Challenge is a running event that can be completed by participants from any location, without the need for a physical presence at a specific location or time. It allows you to run the challenge at your convenience during the specified period of time.
Once you complete a valid run, view your progress and the leaderboard within your personal virtual challenge. A result screen and preliminary leaderboard will be available for participants to view. The final leaderboard will be available at the end of the challenge.
