You can run the virtual challenge from anywhere in Egypt as long as it is outdoors.
You must purchase a ticket to participate in the Ramadan Virtual Challenge, where proceeds will go to Misr ElKheir to help feed families during Ramadan.

You can complete the Ramadan Virtual Challenge by running, jogging or walking. However, it must take place outdoors i.e. sidewalk, street, in a park, on a trail, or at a track, and during the set time frame, March 23 – April 21, 2023.

Please note: Treadmill runs, indoor runs, and manual uploads are not supported. Using any other form of participation than running (cycling, driving, etc.) is not allowed, and our fraud detection will automatically disqualify any invalid track. A valid track is a minimum of 1km run or walk.

This Virtual Challenge is during the month of Ramadan from March 23 – April 21, 2023. Participating runners must complete their 100km distance during the month of Ramadan. You can achieve your goal by running throughout the duration of the challenge.

Once you purchase the ticket from the Racemate app, you can press “Run” from inside the challenge. You can also use the free run option. Your distance will automatically get recorded and added to your total distance for the challenge. You must run with your mobile phone while using the Racemate app to record your distance and complete the 100km challenge.

All your runs must be within the virtual challenge timeframe. For your runs to be added to the Ramadan Virtual Challenge, you must have joined the challenge. To join the challenge, you must purchase a ticket.

You can purchase your ticket via Racemate app. Racemate is available on Google Play and App Store. Once downloaded, go to the home screen where you will find the available virtual challenges. Select the Ramadan virtual challenge and follow the in-app instructions to join and pay. You can purchase your ticket using VISA, Aman, or any e-wallet.

Once you have purchased your ticket successfully, you will be able to see that you have joined the challenge and can start participating.

A Virtual Challenge is a running event that can be completed by participants from any location, without the need for a physical presence at a specific location or time. It allows you to run the challenge at your convenience during the specified period of time. To participate in the Ramadan Virtual Challenge, log in and sign up for the virtual challenge on the Racemate app and run the distance of the race on any outdoor track or course, wherever you are, during the set time frame.

Yes, you can. You can walk, jog or run in an outdoor environment. You must complete the full 100km distance during the set time frame of the Ramadan Virtual Challenge which is March 23 – April 21, 2023 using Racemate app.

Once you complete a valid run, view your progress and the leaderboard within your personal virtual challenge. A result screen and preliminary leaderboard will be available for participants to view. The final leaderboard will be available at the end of the challenge.

All participating runners who complete the challenge will be presented with a Racemate medal as a reward. The official leaderboard will display the fastest runners and teams.

There will be 6 randomly selected winners who will receive cash prizes from Kaching – money manager with a total value of EGP 6,000. We will randomly select 3 male and 3 female winners. The winners will be announced after Eid. The winners will be contacted personally. Please remember to complete your personal Racemate profile, including gender and telephone number, to be able to contact you.

Please make sure you fill in your contact information and address correctly when purchasing the ticket. The price of the ticket includes shipment inside Cairo and Giza. Shipment of medal to other areas will be subjected to charge. You will receive your medal 10-14 days after Eid vacation.
